Dogs are not the only creatures who become victims of domestic abuse. From time to time and in rare cases, humans also experience this tragedy. Nicole is one of the many unfortunate people who experienced domestic violence in the past. But while she had the choice to leave that kind of condition, she refused because she does not know what to do without her fur friend.
Eventually, however, Nicole got separated from her pooch she named Cuddles when her ex-husband abandoned the pooch without Nicole’s knowledge. This left Nicole distraught at the same time at a loss of what to do.
Nicole made a bold decision to leave her ex-husband. She then tried to look for Cuddles to reunite with her favorite pooch. But all her efforts seemed futile as Nicole could not locate the dog’s whereabouts. She then sought the help of the Lincoln County Humane Society, who offered her help in looking for the pooch.
In time for the holidays, Nicole received good news from the humane society. The volunteers of the humane society found where Cuddles was. They then set up a reunion between Nicole and the pooch.
During their reunion, the dog was able to identify her previous owner. The dog then ran towards the direction of Nicole and licked her owner. Nicole, in return, hugged the pooch to show how much she misses the dog.
According to Nicole, the only wish she had was to reunite with her beloved pooch. She does not know how to locate the dog’s whereabouts, so she asked help from the animal shelter. Good thing, the volunteers were accommodating and helped her with her request.
Now that she and Cuddles are together yet again, Nicole vowed that she would do everything for her dog. It is a new beginning for them and her daughter, and Nicole will not waste the opportunity given to her.
